About Robin Moore

Since I can remember, I have pursued my passion for the natural world, first by studying it, gaining a PhD in biodiversity conservation. I taught volunteers in the Philippines and Chile, then created and taught a new undergraduate course in Tropical Ecology and Conservation at the University of South Florida, before realizing that my calling was working in applied conservation. I spent 8 years at Conservation International, where I led the amphibian conservation program. During my time spent in the field I indulged my passion for photography and storytelling, spearheading campaings that included the Search for Lost Frogs, culminating in a book I wrote and published in 2014 (called, you guessed it, In Search of Lost Frogs). In 2013 I joined Global Wildlife Conservation and, in 2021, oversaw the rebrand to Re:wild, where I now serve as Chief Communications Officer. Co-founded by Leonardo DiCaprio and a team of renowned scientists, Re:wild works with more than 500 partners in 90 countries to rewild our Earth.
