About Robin Mowson

Robin Mowson is a Senior Program Analyst on the Immunization team at the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO). Her work involves providing technical guidance to local health departments in the United States, with the goal of improving immunization uptake, access and confidence. This includes strengthening local health departments' immunization infrastructure and capacity to implement evidence-based public health programs, policies, and services to meet national standards in preventing and controlling vaccine-preventable diseases; documenting strategies to address coverage inequities; and building partnerships to provide local health departments’ input on federal immunization policies and guidance. Robin holds Master’s degrees in Applied Medical Anthropology and in Public Health from the University of South Florida, and works to provide methodological recommendations from the social sciences to enrich analyses related to immunizations.
