About Robin Niethammer

Robin Niethammer is a financial management, controlling and HR expert with more than 15 years of experience, including work with multinational corporations such as Bayer, Siemens, and Nokia. In his current role as finance business partner for Bayer Pharma, Robin oversees the finance portfolio for established products (with significant market presence in China) representing multi billions of sales. He joined Bayer Pharma in Berlin from Chengdu, China, where he was the Head of CAO Region West China (CFO) for Bayer HealthCare covering 18 Chinese provinces. While in China, he served as Chairman and board member of the European Chamber of Commerce Southwest China. His leadership contributed significantly to the Chamber’s first published Regional Position Paper which - covered extensively by the media - was well received by the business community and the local government. Robin still serves as an advisor to the Southwestern Chamber Board today. Robin attended Technical University (TU) Dresden in Germany from which he obtained a graduate degree in business management. He also studied in Belgium and Switzerland.
