About Robin Orum

I bring many years experience in all aspects of the dental health field. I started working at age 16 for a general dentist maintaining their recall patient program and supporting the front desk as needed. I went to Dental Assisting College at Highline Community College and completed my certification in dental assisting. I continued working in the general dental field and especially enjoyed working in the hygiene department. In 2004, I started working for Dr. John Almond at Almond Orthodontics. My main job was treatment coordination and treatment planning for our newest patients, but I was still able to assist the clinical team as needed and was Dr. Almond's Office Manager. In March of 2015, Dr. Almond sold his practice to a new provider. I facilitated all phases of the transition to the new doctor. I helped with the transition while continuing my duties as the Office Manager and Treatment Coordinating. Orthodontics brings dentistry to a whole new level as you watch the kids develop and mature while working jointly towards a fantastic smile. Our adult patients are the most fabulous people we have the pleasure to meet and serve. It's truly a life changing adventure. I have recently moved to a new city with my husband and had to leave my position because of this. In 2017, I began working as a treatment coordinator with a new orthodontist. A year later, I had to resign due to needing neck surgery. As I was recovering, my father died suddenly, so I took a pause in my career to help my mother through this life change. When Covid hit, I began to care for my adorable grandsons and became their teacher. I will resume my career if the right opportunity arises that I cannot resist. For now, I keep busy caring for my grandsons and spending time with my husband and kids.
