As a Senior Product Developer and Product Lead, I have 20 years of experience in designing and engineering high-quality consumer products. Expertise and Approach: • Materials and Production Techniques: Extensive knowledge of plastics, metals, and their respective production processes (including injection molding, extrusion, punching, CNC machining, and rapid prototyping among other methods). This expertise allows me to effectively balance design intent, material properties, and manufacturing constraints. • Design Methodologies: Skilled in applying structured methodologies such as FMEA, GD & T, tolerance analysis, DFM/DFA, Six Sigma, and the V-model for requirements management. These tools ensure my designs are robust, efficient, and tailored to customer/consumer needs. • Collaborative Leadership: I’ve successfully led and facilitated engineering teams across locations, including the Netherlands and China.
