About Robin Rogiers

Passionate about pharmaceutical medicine since my first day of med school, I started out my research career in a Phase 1 Clinical Trail Unit in Belgium. After 30+ trials in 3.5 years, a challenging opportunity arose for me to accept a job in fabulous London. I embraced the fast-moving pace of working for an infectious disease research company in the middle of a pandemic and never stepped away from a challenge, allowing me to grow within the company to more senior roles. Presently working as Medical Director in the infectious disease biotech space in The Netherlands. I never liked the idea of choosing one road for life, as this means turning my back on a thousand others. Every aspect of the pharmaceutical industry is interesting, everything can be of use and every element has its charm. This allowed me to work with various departments and learn a wide variety of skills in a short period of time. Working in three different countries has made me more open minded toward other ways of working, increased my versatility and fueled my ambition to contribute to the pharmaceutical society.
