Bringing over 35 years of professional experience in deal making, M&A and sales management he has had the good fortune to learn from many talented people. In his previous life as Business Development executive at IBM & Philips Electronics within the high-tech industry, Robin was instrumental in bringing speech recognition languages and AI based technologies into the marketplace. Learning from top tier professionals regarding client experience delivery, sales management, coaching techniques, and relationship building, all of which has led him to realize that people are his passion. Robin enjoys creating relationships with a client or someone to whom he provides counseling and guidance, a potential new property owner or colleague, to even connect with folks he has just met. Outside of work, Robin serves on Cherokee County Health Department board of directors and GrowNC board of directors. Robin enjoys working with his prized antique cars, trout fishing, or wood sawing on his sawmill. He is married with 5 children aged 37 to 17, has 4 wiener dogs, a rescue bird dog that thinks it’s a wiener dog, 2 donkeys, 26 chickens, 4 geese and 1 black snake named Godzilla.
