About Robin Steiner

I am the Manager of the Business and Finance Section and the Real Estate Services Practice Group of Capes Sokol, where I manage the work flow and assign projects among the attorneys and paralegals in these Practice Groups. I work with, encourage and inspire my colleagues to complete these projects in a timely, efficient and exceptional manner. In addition to these management duties, I am an integral part of a team of legal professionals providing legal advice and related services to public and private clients investing in, developing and constructing, and obtaining loans for all aspects of commercial real estate. My experience includes banking, asset management, and legal services with a heavy concentration in Commercial Real Estate and finance. I previously held positions as Vice President and Department Head of the Legal Department of a $1.8 billion dollar savings and loan in Dallas, Texas, overseeing audit functions, collection activities and bankruptcy cases, and acting in the capacity of Corporate Representative for the bank. As an asset manager of a half-billion dollar commercial portfolio of a publicly traded company, I oversaw all aspects of ownership, short- and long-term strategic financial planning, and management of the portfolio assets, including oversight of property management, leasing strategies, reporting and communication with equity partners and lenders for each asset, preparing annual business plans and budgets, and managing the disposition of assets including loan work-outs and foreclosures.Specialties: Real estate asset management and negotiations; extensive research and analysis; client interaction; travel
