Some achievements- Key member of a Senior Management Team who drove improvements in EBITDA of 15%- Stabilised and rebuilt a team that had collapsed and led them to the successful recovery of significant year end control issues, resolving toxic staffing issues and resolving a botched system implementation- Led a culture change programme in the finance department of a person business ahead of a significant business sale- Created a system that reclaimed over £1m in R&D tax credit cash over a 3 year period- Created costing and pricing systems for a hi-tech startup from scratch- Selection and successful implementation of a manufacturing system into a hi-tech company- Complex consolidations in multi-currency environments, including FRS102 compliance - Promoted within 8 months to take on financial control of an additional business division with £60m turnover, giving total responsibility for the accounting at a £140m turnover business with staff- Cut staff costs by £80k, while increasing output and improving business support to operating units.
