About Robina Ghosh
I am a PhD Student at the University of Texas at Austin, where I study Consumer Behavior in McCombs's Marketing Department. My research is primarily focused on how consumers allocate their time and attention in marketing contexts, and how time and attention influences their consumption decisions. I primarily conduct experimental research, and draw heavily on cognitive and behavioral psychology to better understand consumers. Before starting my PhD, I spent three years in industry working for Target's Marketing department. I was a Project Manager in the Packaging department, and had the opportunity to help launch numerous private-brands and design partnerships. Doing in-store marketing for a large retailer was important an important step in developing my interest consumer decision-making.
