Career pursued for more than 25 years in large global companies in the metallurgical and mining sector, holding leadership positions in complex industrial facilities which are leaders in management systems and some of the largest producers of primary aluminum in the world (Alcoa, BHP Billiton and Hydro consortiums), leading over 1200 employees and managing budgets (Opex and Capex) exceeding US$200 MM/yr. • Worked in manufacturing, financial management, engineering, maintenance, quality management systems and other support areas, involving an extensive and systemic overview of all manufacturing processes.• In-depth technical knowledge and experience in implementing Lean System (TPS the Toyota Production System) in the operations and administrative areas. • Extensive experience in methodologies involving strategic business analysis, problem solving and continuous improvement processes.• Experience in quality system tools, TPM, 5S, critical processes, supply chain, statistical process control, integrated management systems: SA ISO 14001 / and OHSAS 18001.• Strong experience in Maintenance and Reliability Management: preventive, predictive and planning, contract management and root cause analysis.• Proven skills in financial management and operational budgets.• Deep knowledge of capital project management, from identification of the requirement, portfolio and scope development, engineering and execution, to commissioning and operation.• International exposure (USA) as a Lean Management Consulting and in the global corporate project for standardizing and integrating activities and processes • Leadership skill with good interpersonal relations and communication skills.• Results-oriented, assertiveness, self-motivation, team work, autonomy and constantly in search of self-development. • Fluent in EnglishSpecialties: Aluminum Production Process, Plant Manager, Manufacturing, Engineering, Maintenance and Management Systems - Lean Manufacturing.
