About Robyn Ayres

I have been in the field of social work, professionally, for 21 years and have worked in a variety of environments and fields within the profession. I have worked many years in direct service and also held roles in management & administration. I am passionate about people and being a part of creating equitable opportunities for all people regardless of their background. Throughout my career, I have worked with historically oppressed folks including people of color, members of the LGBTQ community, people with disabilities and/or mental health challenges, and those living in poverty providing support as needed and advocating with and for them for equitable access and treatment as they have pursued success and happiness in their life pursuits. Additionally, I have consistently volunteered in the communities in which I live and do what I can to have a positive impact in my surroundings. I love playing softball, listening to music (live and recorded), hiking and enjoying nature in all its beauty, and appreciating art in many forms.
