About Robyn Bartlett

My vision is to see Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) communities empowered through innovative projects connecting them to Country, protecting culture, elevating health and wellbeing, and linking people in the community. My strength lies in collaborating, connecting and engaging stakeholders so that mutual benefits and outcomes are realised by all parties to achieve this broader vision. With over 15 years’ experience as a lawyer, specialising in native title, Cultural Heritage Management Agreements and Indigenous Land Use Agreements, I am ideally placed to assist negotiations between parties. I work collaboratively with Boards to lead them to new ways of thinking and contribute to and deliver their strategic plans. The projects I have initiated and delivered have been fully funded and supported through my efforts of nurturing key relationships built with key stakeholders in my community. Some of most recent projects are my proudest achievements. They are: • Fire Walks Program, • Masterclass Series; and • The Cultural Connection Project (a school based cultural program) • Collaborating on a CT scanner for Weipa Hospital project leading to better health outcomes for the community The pandemic although a challenging time, presented our greatest opportunities. During this time, I was able to secure over $320K in funding for our programs and am always in discussions with other organisations in terms of how we can source new revenue streams. My programs are often met with excitement and willing stakeholders ready to fund them.
