In my current role as Process Lab Manager I will oversee and maintain all oil production, medication formulating, and testing. My leadership will extend to all oil production steps, analytical testing, formulation of medications, and all associated departmental functions. I will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the production facility in accordance with the State of NJ regulations and standards set by the company. In addition, I will be have full scientific oversight of the Labs and all processes and manage the extraction process, purification process, formulation process, and analytical testing in their entirety. My previous role as Quality Manager, I am implemented and developed the Quality Management Systems for a Cannabis grow and manufacturing facility in New Jersey and our Cannabis Extraction Lab in Maryland. This included developing, improving, and implementing the Operational Processes, Testing Procedures, and Quality Systems that would ensure all of the cannabis products and processes comply with each states Cannabis regulations, GMP, as well as, meet consumers' expectations. I have created both, Document Control and Employee Training Record Databases for both facilities in NJ and MD. I was responsible for performing audits, reviewing, and processing all non conformance’s, Consumer Complaints, and CAPA’s for both New Jersey and Maryland. My prior roles as an Analytical Chemist in Quality Control were in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Federal Contracting. I have excellent bench chemist skills, as I’ve worked with several types of topical pharmaceutical products and at least 13 different volatile explosives (e.g, NG, TNT, and Tetryl). I possess in depth knowledge in chromatography (GC/MS, LC/MS, and IC) which includes analysis, maintenance, trouble shooting, and method development. 5 years experience with QqQ, QToF, and single quad mass spec. 7 years experience with GC, LC, and IC. Other analytical chemistry techniques used in my previous role include: Karl Fisher, Viscosity, Microscopy, pH, specific gravity, and wet chemistry.
