Background

About Robyn Garside

I’m a people-first professional with a BA in Psychology from the University of Pretoria (2021), and a strong track record in both recruitment and business development. With over 3 years of experience in the recruitment industry and 4+ years in business development - working with brands like Manpower SA and Mercedes-Benz - I’ve built a career around connecting the right people to the right opportunities. Currently, I’m a Junior Associate Consultant at CSG, specializing in IT Architecture and Infrastructure recruitment. My role blends candidate sourcing, screening, and placement with client engagement and business development. My background in psychology gives me a unique edge: I understand what drives people. I use that insight to build genuine connections, ensure strong cultural fits, and create recruitment experiences that feel personal - not transactional. Also a lifelong bookworm (yes, it helps), I’m naturally curious, always learning, and driven by the challenge of matching talent to business needs in meaningful ways.
