Robyn is a Fellow of the AICD, and currently sits on three company Boards. Robyn has recently been appointed as a Director of Yarra Valley Water after an eight year term on the Board of Melbourne Water. In Melbourne Water as Chair of the capital approvals committee, and served on the customer and service delivery committee and the people safety and culture committee. For four years she was also on the Board of Vic Water, the peak Body for Victorian water authorities. From July 2019, Robyn’s appointment as Director on the Board of Monash Health saw her serve on the finance committee, and the community advisory committee. In her recent Health Board appointment, Robyn was appointed in July 2022 to the Board of Austin Health where she serves on risk and audit, quality, REM and Co Chairs the community advisory committees From October 11 2021, Robyn is also an Independent Non Executive Director to CleanTeq Water ASX :CNQ. Cleanteq water is an innovative water technology company specialising in finding low energy solutions to complex water quality projects for potable water sources in remote communities and the mining industry in Australia and globally Robyn was notably Commissioner for Water Security in South Australia. She held this position from November 2008 to March 2011. As Water Security Commissioner, Robyn oversighted a major capital works program linked to irrigation reform, as well as stormwater capture and storage, and was involved in the project governance of the construction of the Adelaide Desalination plant. Robyn's most noteworthy achievement was the development and implementation of the South Australian water security plan, WATER FOR GOOD. Prior to this role, Robyn was National Director of Water for KPMG, advising the Tasmanian, Queensland and West Australian Govts, Executive Director of Major Water Projects with the Victorian Government, and Chief of Staff to the Victorian ALP Minister for Energy Resources and Ports. Robyn has been involved in volunteer activities with the Good Shepherd Family and Children’s Services and in 2017 was appointed to the GS Australia and New Zealand Board Governance Advisory Committee. Robyn was an inaugural NED of The Australian Centre for Social Innovation for six years. Robyn is also deeply involved in mentoring a number of women in leadership roles.
