About Robyn Miller

My journey with raptors began right here at Auburn, where I volunteered in both the rehabilitation and education departments while earning my PhD in literature. Now, I’m honored to return to the place that sparked my passion and to lead AURC’s dedicated team. With over a decade of experience in raptor training, rehabilitation, and education, I’m deeply committed to fostering connections between people and wildlife. In my previous role, I helped design and develop a new raptor facility, launch conservation initiatives to protect our waterways, and establish a STEAM-based educational program that connects communities with birds of prey. As a licensed falconer and naturalist, I believe in the power of research-driven conservation efforts to make a lasting impact. I also serve as a general board member of the International Association of Avian Trainers and Educators (IAATE). As director, my goal is to strengthen AURC’s mission by expanding our work in conservation, education, and research. I look forward to collaborating with the Auburn family and the broader community to inspire a deeper appreciation for these incredible birds. War Eagle!
