About Robyn Ward

I am a Certified Executive Coach (ICF/ACC), Certified Cultivating Safe Spaces Facilitator (CSS), volunteer counsellor (ENH), creative artist, activist and change-maker. I was born on Treaty 1 Territory and have mixed European heritage (Ukrainian, English, German). 20 years ago I married an Anishinaabe man and became part of the Bear Clan. I am the proud mother of two Indigenous boys. My life and my family's life are rooted in the Anishinaabe 7 Sacred Teachings: Respect, Courage, Wisdom, Humility, Truth, Honesty and Love. These values guide me daily and hold me personally and professionally accountable throughout my life. For 20 years I have focused my professional development on four fields: psychology, business, coaching and technology. When I’m not supporting clients or facilitating workshops, I am a Board Member and consultant at Animikii. I am the Vice President of the International Coaching Federation British Columbia Board and a (non-Indigenous) Matriarch at the Sage Initative. I am an ally, an equity accomplice and social justice disrupter to all spaces lacking inclusion and human rights.
