About Robyn Williams

As a Medical Assistant for 10 years, I fell in love with the healthcare field and taking care of people in their time of need. I have been able to be engulfed in the medical field and follow my dreams of helping as many people I can and that is how I fell into nursing. I have my experience as a Medical Assistant, X-Ray Technician, and Phlebotomist which allowed me to hone in on skills that would propel me in the aspects of patient care. I have been able to develop many skills along with becoming easily adaptable to quick changes due to working in mainly Urgent Care settings. While pursuing my first Bachelor's degree I was torn between becoming a Physical Therapist or going to nursing school. I ultimately decided nursing school was for me due to the possibility of being hands on and the ability and freedom to do so much with my degree. Along my time in nursing school, it has opened my eyes and allow me to feel at home and that I have made the correct decision by wanting to help people and the feeling I get from knowing I've made someone's day a little brighter even in the toughest times.
