About Rochelle Basil

Rochelle is one of the two founding coaches at Lift. Run. Perform, an online coaching service that provides the highest quality care and expertise to athletes from around the world to accomplish their running, fitness and lifestyle goals in both a 1:1 and group training setting. She is certified through the Road Runners Club of America and VDOT02. In 2020 she completed certification work for Pre & Post Natal Coaching as well as Pilates Mat (Physical Mind Institute,NYC) and expects to complete her Certified Personal Training (CPT), Performance Enhancement Specialization (PES), Corrective Exercise Specialization (CES), Nutrition Certification (CNC) and Behavior Change Specialization (BCS) in early 2021. Rochelle is currently an ambassador with lululemon and has a passion for connecting both athletes together as well as with like minded professionals within the health, fitness and wellness space. Prior to coaching and her community building efforts, Rochelle completed her Masters in Cognitive Behavioral Neuroscience at George Mason University in 2017. During this time she gained acceptance and completed a highly competitive Neuropsychology Internship at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, MD. She has nearly a decade of experience in a variety of settings with children, young adults, and their families, with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and other developmental and intellectual disabilities. Rochelle ran professionally post collegiately and was fortunate to gain selection to represent New Zealand at the Commonwealth Half Marathon Championships, and both World Mountain Running and Cross Country Championships and placed 5th in the Open Division at the 2019 London Marathon.
