I am currently the managing partner in my family investment office called Podium Capital Partners. We own, operate, and invest in commercial real estate. The firm also manages investments in the public equity markets. Prior to my current position I worked for an $20 billion private equity firm at one of their portfolio companies as their CFO. Before my private equity experience, I took a company public on the NYSE as their CFO. My background is turning around companies on the verge of bankruptcy to healthy growth companies. One company I helped grow the revenue from $2 million to over $600 million. Another portfolio company I helped double the EBITDA in three years and paid the private equity owners a $25 million dollar dividend. IMPROVED CASH FLOW - Increased cash flow by over 100% by negotiating longer vendor terms and optimizing inventory flow. START UP OPERATIONS - Implemented new store operations monthly reporting that focused on critical growth drivers for sales productivity; grew profitability by 25+% the first year. COST SAVINGS - Saved $15 million in state taxes by developing complex corporate structure. IPO INITIATIVE - Convinced analysts / investment bankers to take company public, drafted S-1, and filed first 10Q 2 weeks after IPO. INVESTOR RELATIONS - Increased sell-side analyst coverage 100+% by developing investor relations department / program included website, quarterly investor road shows, and conferences. ACQUISITION - Led acquisition process for 3 major acquisitions from deal pricing to integration- Completed complicated private equity acquisition and financing transaction.
