About Rod Williams

Rod has spent over 35 years in Asia including time India, Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Japan. Malaysia and Indonesia where he resides. Almost half of this time was in senior roles with Rolls-Royce, the aerospace and energy giant but for the past 22 years in Indonesia he has active across a number of business sectors. This has included being a founder director of a general infrastructure and M&A advisory consultancy, Glendale Partners, a member of the senior management of a large geothermal power project and a leading geothermal drilling company. More recently, Rod holds key positions in a number of diverse businesses in non-executive advisory or director's roles. He has extensive experience in advising on business strategy and investment planning including financial modeling helping a wide range of businesses around the world present themselves to potential investors. Rod sees his key strengths as being leadership and management in a multi-faceted business and cultural environment in both corporate and project environments. He has clearly demonstrated this through the business success he has enjoyed across all the markets and countries he has been involved with at the highest level. He places particular importance on leadership in culturally diverse societies and has clearly demonstrated his ability in this area. He has much experience of negotiating with many different Asian cultures in a way which respects the wishes and needs of his client companies.
