About Roda Minas

I’m Roda Minas, a proud Black woman, first-gen college graduate, and nonprofit professional with a deep love for equity, urban and rural planning, community development, and intentional outreach. My personal and professional worlds are tightly connected. I didn’t just study nonprofit leadership—I lived it. I’ve been on both sides of the work: the one receiving support and the one designing the systems to make sure others feel seen, included, and empowered. I’ve worked across affordable housing, DEI, youth leadership, and program development—and I’ve loved every bit of building programs that center community and spark real change. I’m someone who genuinely enjoys urban and rural planning (give me a messy problem and a blank whiteboard!), leading outreach efforts, and using social media to make sure the message doesn’t just land—it resonates. Whether it’s building a strategy, uplifting a story, or hosting a workshop that leaves people feeling fired up and included—I bring my full self every time. Now that I’ve wrapped up my master’s, I’m stepping into this next chapter with more clarity, more confidence, and a whole lot of excitement for what’s ahead.
