Hey Everyone, I graduated from the University of Tennessee Knoxville in May 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Information Science specializing in Data, Information Management, & Analytics. Data tells a story giving you insight into a multitude of situations. Simple numbers such as 61 or 44 can convey vital information. Did you know that according to the USDA, about 6.1% of the U.S. population, or 19 million people, live in food deserts? OR that over the past century,"Michael" has been the most popular male baby name 44 times. Starting at the bottom of the pyramid and adding context, meaning, and insight to end up with Wisdom is like reading a book about a new world. That's why i chose this concentration. I also picked this major because Garcia from Criminal Minds has my dream job and has major Squad Goals. In my college career, I have had two internship opportunities. The first one was with US Bank as an Information Security Intern in Knoxville, TN. My primary focus was on testing the deployment of a new privilege management system before implementation. My second internship was with Crowe as an IT Audit Intern in Los Angeles, California. I worked with different companies testing ITGC controls for either SOC, HiTrust, and Financial Assistant engagements. While continuing to grow my technical side, I also cultivate a creative side every day. I dabble in photography with a focus on portraits and landscapes. I have held 4 executive positions in marketing and communication for my student organizations throughout college. I have also held a position in the Daily Beacon as a photographer and co-photo editor.
