Hi my name is Roderick Wright, 22 years old. I am a Veteran of the U.S. ARMY (Honorable Discharge). I served 4 years active duty as a 25U and my secondary MOS was a 25B. As a 25U/25B I developed multiple skills such as: cable installation (CAT 5, CAT 6), radio programming/ frequencies, COMSEC account holder, help desk support, remedy tickets, and computer re-imaging. I am a hard-working, dedicated, motivated individual! Goal and family oriented! I keep a positive mindset and won’t stop until the job is complete! after serving in the army I have moved into the trucking industry. I obtained my Class A CDL license through “Troops into Transportation CDL School”. Upon my completion of CDL training I worked/trained with TMC on flatbed trucks over the road. As a driver I have 3+ years experience with combination vehicles in the military and less than 6 months experience with flatbeds. I have a clean driving record & I am a very defensive, safe driver! I have a current DOT medical card as well. I am seeking a local truck driving job in the Richmond, VA area that will allow me to put in the hard work on the job and also allow me to be home everyday for my family and kids. I also am open to a career in telecommunications, cable installation, and IT.
