MY LEADERSHIP: Develops employees through coaching and mentoring to foster technical and business skill development. Works with a collaborative approach and linkage across multiple departments and customers. Enhances processes to save time, resulting in freed up employee time. Solves problems through intuition gained from time and experience within the industry. Utilizes the experiences gained from having senior leadership positions at Fortune 500 companies. MY EXPERTISE: Acquired over 1,100 acres of property in the Eagle Ford via multiple contracts for less than the fair market value ($10.5MM) in areas with high concentrations of activity in which purchase was more cost effective than paying for rights and damages. Reduced the 2016 budget by $1MM by renegotiating the right of way contractor agreements and bringing specialized contractor work in-house to employees. Created the concept of acquiring sub-surface easements per well versus per acre or per foot, resulting in a savings of $20k per well and flexibility in drilling designs. Managed all real estate and right of way issues for the $148MM disposition of Barnett Shale oil & gas leases near Weatherford, Texas including office transfer, property tax transitions, and disclosure of remediation sites to the new owners. Innovatively discovered a 5-year freshwater source via the Brazos River Authority for $0.01 per barrel to be used for drilling, fracking and stimulating wells. Generated over $4MM in new revenue in one year by negotiating encroachment agreements with commercial developers to relocate pipelines at no cost to the business unit.
