I have 20 years experience working in various positions including IT Manager, Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM), Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO), and Facility Security Officer (FSO) at Ultra Electronics USSI later as Corporate ISSM at Ultra Electronics Defense, Inc.(UEDI) It was my privilege to work with and learn from our distinguished FOCI Outside Directors including a former Secretary of the Navy, Under Secretary of the Air Force, Assistant Secretary of the Army, Rear Admiral USN, and Under Secretary of Defense as well as UEDI’s Corporate FSO, Notable experience includes: • Extensive experience in the planning and coordination of information systems, information security systems, networks, and the configuration and maintenance of all types of IT infrastructures • Develop risk management framework for classified computer systems to meet Department of Defense and Defense Counterintelligence requirements. • Experienced AFSO and FSO with extensive knowledge in National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) compliance. • Creation of SSA and Proxy agreements for Foreign Ownership Control or Influence (FOCI) mitigation. • Developed Affiliated Operations Plan (AOP) and Electronic Communications Plans (ECP). • Architect of NIST 800-171 compliance in preparation of CMMC assessments. • Effective written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to deliver projects on time and within budget. • Cyber Security Panelist at DCSA’s 2018 FOCI Conference • Provided IT Due Diligence and integration for 3 acquisitions • Authored and obtained DCSA approval of Ultra’s first Electronic Communications Plan • Obtained DCSA approval for Ultra’s Information Broker allowing Ultra’s Corvid UK based subsidiary to provide threat hunting and mitigation services on Ultra’s US networks • As USSI’s ISSM we achieved 12 consecutive superior ratings from DCSA resulting in receiving a Cogswell Award • Team member to ensure Workday configuration was compliant with FOCI requirements.
