About Rodrigo Muniz

With 8+ years of experience in QA and software automation, I started my career in technical support at a major Brazilian telecom, which gave me strong people skills and collaboration expertise. At SOVOS, I joined the first QA team in São Paulo, working on fiscal compliance software used across multiple countries. My role has evolved to combine QA and software development responsibilities. I designed and implemented automated regression test suites (Postman/JavaScript, Cypress), created mocks for the Brazilian tax authority (SEFAZ) and city halls (Node.js, Jest, ASP.NET), and led the migration of automation tools to improve efficiency and reduce dependencies (PowerShell, Docker, SQL). I proactively take on development tasks, fixing bugs and creating unit tests in C#, focusing on code quality and performance. I work daily with SQL, Docker, and Agile (Scrum), and collaborate in English with international teams. I am now focused on transitioning fully to software development, leveraging my automation and programming expertise to deliver robust solutions.
