About Rodrigo Risso

I have almost 20 years of experience working on various building types, mainly in the healthcare area of the public sector. In the last ten years, I worked as Prime Consultant/Owner's Representative with renovations and expansions in a hospital. This role strengthened my skills in building analysis, functional programming, design services, code assessment and construction phase services. So I became experienced with complex building types involving multiple stakeholders and requiring design/technical research. About a year ago I changed to Canada seeking new experiences and challenges. I am close to concluding the Architectural Engineering Technician program, which will give me knowledge of Canadian building standards, codes and practices. Aiming to expand my skills and knowledge and eager to contribute to the profession, I am looking to work as an architectural designer and to push toward my registration here as a Licensed Architect.
