On the 1st of October 2021 Roel started on the journey to the next phase of his career: having the privilege to assist and lead a talented team of specialist solution architects that are product specialists supporting our sales teams and customers across EMEA. Before that Roel was a enthusiastic Red Hat Solution Architect, exited about being able to reach out to people spreading and supporting the Open Source and Red Hat message. He regularly spoke at conferences, has customer engagement and satisfaction as priorities, aids prospects, customers & partners with their understanding on how to technology helps to assist with their business goals. And how to the Red Hat Middleware, IoT and OpenShift products can aid said goals. Additionally Roel was a first contact for technical questions, he provided presentations, workshops for knowledge sessions, and when necessary, he did provide training. Before his time at Red Hat Roel was a (web)application developer for a wide variety of business applications, with a focus on tier-integration, beans, web services, the Spring framework and security aspects.
