Since Juli 1st 2008 I'm owner and managing director of Altrea Logistics Group leaving 18 years of management consultancy in the supply chain management area behind to turn to the 'real world´ of supply chain and logistics executive management. In more recent years I devoted my professional attention to growing Altrea Logistics to a sustainable and professional transport and logistics group including today Alders Transport, Alders Bulk Logistics, ACE Logistics Hungary, Transport Marcel Depaire, Alders Transport Germany, Vandenbroeck Transport, Haesaerts Intermodal Be, Hu, Ru, By, and Trafuco and Beltra-B companies. Having been a management consultant in the Supply Chain Management area for 18 years allowed me to build an expert knowledge in - international supply chain network redesing and distribution supply chain optimization - integrated supply chain planning including demand planning and forecasting, strategic supply network planning, operations planning in manufacturing, distribution, transportation - cost to serve reduction programs and customer service improvement initiatives - service parts supply chain optimizations - financial supply chain management including working capital reduction programs, KPI driven development of executive and management reporting systems for management of the SCM business area. Industry experience mostly in Manufacturing ( Metal, Machine Building, Automotive), Consumer Products, Wholesale and Retail, Logistics Services. Allways looking for the intelligent combination of - Strategy, Processes and Systems - Analysis (study) and implementation ( deliver sustainable results) Over the years I have been assuming the full responsible over the entire Supply Chain Practice from Andersen Business Consulting and Deloitte Consulting in Belgium where i have been a Partner from - 2004. Since 2004, I have been managing director in the Belgian entity of J&M Management Consulting AG, a leading european advisory company in the area of advanced supply chain management.
