I am a strategic and commercially minded CFO/O and former CEO/MD and Company Secretary, executive and non-executive director with over 27 years of experience in senior finance, executive management, and board of director roles. I am a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland (FCA) and a Chartered Director with the Institute of Directors (C-DIR), demonstrating expertise and professionalism in leadership, strategy, corporate governance, finance, acquisitions, change and integration management, stakeholder management, people management, project management and IT and systems development. In my roles to date I have operated at senior executive level across multiple industries and I have been responsible for managing up to e120m in annual revenues, coordinating the Boards of a private sector SMEs, a not-for-profit entity and a large public sector body and have been responsible for managing teams of varying sizes across multiple geographies. I believe that people management and emotional intelligence are the key to commercial success-we work for and with people, we do business with people, and we must put every effort in to managing and nurturing those relationships to ensure long term success.
