About Roger Eynon

After 21 years in the private sector, I moved to public sector roles.Manager of a large NHS funded health centre - delivering primary and secondary care. I performed a service review as well as all contracts that were in place. I identified financial, operational and delivery issues that would impact on contracted objectives. I implemented changes to secure the service and managed a deficit into surplus. I improved service delivery leading to the offer of increased funding.Merseyside Police - Financial Investigator. I worked with 8 forms of legislation. I led investigations into criminally derived assets. I restrained and confiscated assets under Proceeds of Crime Act and coached Police Officers how to utilise the wide powers of the legislation.National Manager - Neighbourhood Support New Zealand, hosted at Police National Headquarters for 7 years. The organisation has 80 area based operations, household members and national strategic goals. My term fell into 2 distinct periods:Period 1 - understanding the structure and historic approach of the business, recognising the challenges, addressing vulnerabilities and setting strategy to attain the goals of the organisation. Financial instability and low profile were key targets to improve alongside setting goals and milestones. Both were achieved which led to improved relations and higher expectation with NZ Police and Ministry of Justice. Period 2 - how I leveraged and delivered upon improved organisation profile, a more positive image, being integral to other agencies and managing investment opportunities for community projects.I acquired my skills and experience from a wide exposure to different career roles. I am seeking operational, strategic, contributory and leadership roles in public safety or service delivery. I have worked with policy and legislation in all roles I have occupied.I enjoy contact with people and resolving difficult and complex issues.
