Prior to joining Santander, held global senior roles at DB across income-producing divisions in the Business Selection and Conflicts Office; on the Americas Reputational Risk Committee; as Chair, Equity Commitments Committee; and as a leader for the group-wide Business Review Group (vetting potential high risk clients and transactions). Reported directly to Management Committee members at GS and Management Board members at DB. Began career as a Simpson Thacher corporate lawyer. Pivoted to GS Corporate Finance after 3 years. 20 years at GS in Corporate Finance, Financial Sponsors, and lastly Conflicts. Promoted to MD at GS before the IPO. Most senior banking role was global head of Transportation Group. Eight years as second line risk manager at DB with a focus on risk managing high risk transactions. Played senior role in high profile mergers, leveraged buyouts and capital markets transactions. Financings included equity offerings, leveraged finance, bank debt and high yield.
