About Roger J. Thacher
After spending my entire life studying what seemed to be every radio commercial, cartoon, and video game under the sun, I now find myself in the phenomenal position of working in the Industry, helping qualified and talented individuals into the industry, and pursuing a lifelong dream of mine. CURRENTLY: Refining my Dublin-Irish accent and acquiring a Donald Duck accent. Voice Role highlights include voicing an Alan Turing exhibit for the Orlando Science Center and a property mascot for Asset Campus Housing. Previous stage roles include Mr. Braddock in The Graduate, Aeneas in Trojan Women 2.0, Tom Snout/Mustardseed in A Midsummer Night's Dream. Other performance highlights include a longform improv/interactive experiment which included hours of acting over multiple locations in the Orlando and Maitland area. Graduated the University of Central Florida in May, 2013 with a B.A. in Theatre Studies and a minor in Legal Studies. My focus for my degree was in Voice and Movement. During my tenure at UCF, I was President of Project Spotlight which worked to produce student One Act and Mainstage productions every semester. I would oversee the play selection, casting calls, and overall execution of the One Act Festivals. The Mainstage production was selected for the Orlando Fringe Festival in 2013 and received high honors, including Best Dramatic Actor for that year.
