As former President of Trident Mortgage Group Inc, Roger has funded well over 1.5 billion dollars in both refinance and purchase transactions. Before starting and operating Trident Mortgage Group Inc, Roger was a top producer at one of the West Coast’s most successful mortgage brokerages. He gained invaluable knowledge and mastered the skills necessary to excel in securing the best loan terms for his clients. Including: full underwriting guideline principles, strategic planning relating to the borrowers’ need and identifying the appropriate lender best suited to them. In 2003 with five-years under his belt, and a desire for new opportunities, he opened his own company. His mortgage solutions are always tailor-fit to each client's unique financial and differing situation. This includes assisting mortgage loan officers and brokers with product placement. Roger is on top of all lending options available to his clients. Therefore, reminding clients, that residential mortgages are not a commodity but, one of the most important financial transactions, they may ever make. Roger is proud to have advised thousands of people when purchasing or refinancing toward the most favorable terms. As an industry expert, he has mentored numerous junior loan officers with an emphasis on “relationship-concentric” client building, strategic planning, sales, marketing and loan processing awareness. He is a graduate from the University of San Diego with a bachelor degree in Political Science.
