Senior HVAC Controls Technician with Trane NW. over the last thirty years I have worked with all sorts of controls and mechanical systems. On the mechanical side I've operated or repaired Boilers, chillers and absorbers with a variety of hydronic systems and heat exchangers. My controls experience started with pneumatics and has grown into the DDC world. I have worked with or for Honeywell, Alerton, Distech, ASI, JCI, Staffa, Siemens, KMC and American Automatrics with various GUIs like Wonderware, Tridium and now Trane's Synchrony and Ensemble. It's been an amazing learning experience and I get to help people everyday to make the complicated world of controls simple enough so operators can effectively control their systems and save energy (Money) by only using what they need. I've done everything from campus applications, Large skyrises, Boeing chiller plants, Hospitals and even small businesses. It's great to have a product that is so customizable that it can fit just about anywhere and yet they all have the same look and feel. And there is no better feeling than taming those system that just defy normal logic or that require thinking outside of the box.
