I believe that education should empower individuals to thrive in complexity, lead with purpose, and contribute meaningfully to society. I am a dedicated educator and academic leader with a passion for student success, organizational development, and strategic communication. With over 30 years of experience across higher education, corporate leadership, and international service, I bring a unique blend of strategic insight and human-centered practice to every role I undertake. Currently, I serve as Coordinator of Student Coaching & Wellbeing and Lecturer at Fontys University of Applied Sciences in Venlo, where I lead initiatives that support student success, wellbeing, and academic quality. I also teach and mentor students in Change Management, Organizational Behavior, and Research Skills, while contributing to curriculum development and academic governance. My background includes senior roles at Philips and Blue Ox Consulting, where I led or facilitated global programs in employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, leadership development, and organization transformation. I hold an MBA from Nyenrode University, a BSc from The Citadel, and Dutch national qualifications in education and examination (BKO/BKE). I’m also active in community leadership, historical preservation, and lifesaving sports.
