A 30 year career at The Dow Chemical Company in 22 different jobs from engineering to marketing to finance to business management to strategy provides a broad background in business experience. As Director of Experiential learning at the BYU Marriott School of Management, I run the Field Study and On Campus Internship Programs. These programs provide work experience for students at BYU and great opportunity for companies to work with students, while obtaining economical options to get important work completed, and increase their exposure with the students for future employment opportunities. On Campus Internships are teams of 5 students that provide 600+ hours of effort over a 15 week semester. These students do projects submitted by sponsoring companies and provide the equivalent of a summer internship completed virtually from campus during the Fall or Winter semester without charge to the companies.
