About Roger Mills

I am a digital humanities researcher, consultant, environmentalist, and project manager. I am passionate about digital preservation and sustainability and working with organisations to develop policies and strategies for sustainability and long-term access to, and use of, their digital archives, and collections. My background is in tertiary education and public libraries, with extensive experience in research and evaluation, project management, data management, training, presales, and implementations of the Recollect CMS and Preservica digital preservation solution for the cultural heritage sector. I have an in-depth knowledge of project management tools and methodologies, with excellent communication, and collaboration skills. I love playing a role in translating cultural knowledge and meaning-making in a digital space, as well as securing, maintaining, and sharing it with present, and future generations.
