A strong pro-active leader providing guidance, advice, support and using his experience to set issues into context to achieve company objectives. Saved 1.53 tonnes of C02 (Co-op). • Scoured the market, identified and secured an award-winning Primary Authority arrangement between Wakefield District Council and Central Co-operative. • Co-wrote and launched health & safety policies (Co-op, Games Workshop & Golder) • Developed a NEBOSH support programme to empower my team of Advisors to pass the NEBOSH General Certificate. This involved arranging visits to make H&S ‘come alive’ with various sites to apply H&S practically, theory sessions and mock exams (Co-op). • Member of Committee of the IOSH East Midlands branch (April '12 to June '20 & Treasurer '19/20). • In April 2023, self-financed AIEMA to consolidate my growing interest in environmental issues.
