My personal area of expertise is consulting with business owners, high earning w-2 employees, beneficiaries of large liquidity events and generally any tax payer who may be over paying in taxes. I am a firm believer that as citizens of this great country we should all pay in much as taxes as we are obligated to.but not a penny more. I have spent countless hours studying, and then educating tax payers, tax preparers, advisors and consultants on various appropriate tax incentives located in the code. Whether the tax liability is from business income, personal income(w-2) or a liquidity event (capital gains) there are various solutions and incentives available to help the tax payer keep and put to work more of the money they are making. My background in health benefits and business risk management has lead to my participation in the creation of new program we call a MARC (Medical Allied Reinsurance Company). We assist businesses in setting up their own reinsurance company to process claims and hold reserves for self-funded plans. The application creates an excellent tax-advantage for surplus reserves utilizing section 831(b) of the tax code.
