Role I am deeply process oriented, experienced, and self-driven Logistics Analyst to support international and domestic distribution. I work cross-functionally with global supply chain, warehousing, material planning, channel planning, service, finance, and production control. Responsibilities. • Facilitates and coordinates with logistics carriers and customs brokers regarding all aspects of inbound transport service of international air and ocean freight including but not limited to tracking, expediting, final mile, and receipt confirmation taking ownership of the life-cycle. • Establishes operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming shipments and on-time/ delivery performance. • Manages and assess carrier’s performance and reports operational metrics (KPIs) to senior management, as well as any regulatory reporting requirements related to transportation and logistics activities. • Lead and measure processes to ensure logistics operations are completed with excellence. • Develop global distribution strategy to support complex and high volume service supply chain. • Work with supply chain leadership, logistics and business intelligence managers to establish strategic objectives and logistics road map for service, MRB and e-commerce. • Collaborate with industrial engineers, business intelligence team and system development team regularly to initiate logistics carrier API integration, and internal TMS and WMS improvements. • Issue statistical or detailed reporting for stakeholders as requested including operation efficiency improvement, cost reduction and capacity planning. • Pull data from internal database. Analyze, compile, and publish logistics dashboards and metrics for Tesla’s logistics leadership. • Identify and define new process improvement opportunities.
