About Roger Silk

Roger D. Silk is CEO and co-founder of Sterling Foundation Management. Founded in 1998 with a focus on Private Foundations, Sterling has grown to be the nation’s oldest such firm now specializing in providing the full-spectrum of solutions from the charitable world for high net worth clients. Many people are surprised to learn that a solution from the charitable world is actually the best solution for their problem, especially in situations that they had not considered to have much to do with charity. They’re surprised because they might not have thought about philanthropy, might have little interest in supporting charity, or as often happens, what they have heard about philanthropy is not quite right. We develop and implement tailored tax planning and philanthropic solutions for high-net-worth clients. We work closely with our clients’ existing professionals (e.g. CPAs, attorneys) to develop and implement personalized, efficient and effective solutions. Roger brings over 35 years of experience, insights and problem-solving skills to Sterling, and we share that with our team internally, with our advisor-partners, and our clients. Sterling does not manage money.
