About Roger Singh

A member of the Suffolk County Police Department - Auxiliary Unit, U.S. Coast Guard Aux, and former members of the Suffolk County Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), former Volunteer EMT/Firefighter, former Scout Master for Boys Scouts Troop 86, and former Adult leader for Girl Scout Troop 1991. Presentations at Northern Virginia Community College, Stony Brook University, Shanghai, Paris, Moscow, and Istanbul. Traveled to Oaxaca (2011), Mexico as part of a 16 member delegation with Witness for Peace. We studied the affects of NAFTA, poverty, and the causes of migration. Traveled to People's Republic of China (2012), Paris, France (2013), Istanbul, Turkey (2015) for academic residencies. Also in 2013, visited Innsbruck, Austria and Germany (Stuttgart, Garmisch, Munich, and Dachau Concentration Camp). Study abroad programs in Russia (Moscow and St. Petersburg), July, 2014, Budapest, Hungary; Krakow and Auschwitz Concentration Camp, Poland; Prague, Czech Republic, and Vienna, Austria, with a side trip to Donavaly, Slovakia (2016), Warsaw, Poland; Vilnius, Lithuania; Riga, Latvia; Tallin, Estonia, and Helsinki, Finland (2017). Minsk, Belarus; L'viv, Kiev, and Odessa, Ukraine; Tiraspol, Transnistria, and Chisinau, Moldova,(2019), with a side trip to Chernobyl. Selected as a Student Ambassador for Walden University.
