Rohan is into private practice since 2013. His first project was in the form of collaboration with Umbrella design. MILLK a recreational center for kids and adults. Currently he is working on a series of restrooms for Agasti. He has also won several competitions like 1. Design for traditional Indian markets – CNBC design masters, Mumbai, 2014 2. New public spaces for city like Mumbai – Terrace alive, 361 degree conference-Mumbia, 2014 3. Community Housing for smart cities – Muncipalika, Jaipur 2016 Rohan is an alumnus of college of Architecture Kolhapur. After graduation in 2008 he worked with renowned architect Padma Vibhushan Charles Correa and Christopher Benninger on diverse projects ranging from institutes in Pune, Chennai, Portugal, and Toronto. He was involved in invited national as well as international competitions like the Aga Khan School in Chitravad, IIM-Udaipur campus, St.George International School New Delhi and The Al-Jamea tus Saifiya in Nairobi, Kenya. His work also includes the urban design intervention for the holy Al-haram mosque in Mecca. He has also worked at RMA architects in Mumbai on restoration and adaptive reuse to restore the ancestral property of the Lalbhai family in Ahmedabad and a series of lifestyle stores for Bandhej in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Cochin and Delhi. He nurtures avid interest in design in all forms and scale ranging from product design to furniture design to architecture and urban landscapes. His project of affordable housing for future Indian homes 2020 was acclaimed among the top 10 designs in the country.
