I am very passionate person, who takes great care in fulfilling my role within a healthy research team dynamic. While I have proven the ability to learn difficult concepts and technical skills with my work and degrees, I consider my greatest attribute to be curiosity. Curiosity about the purpose of our company, beyond task lists. Curiosity about statistical methods that could be used in replace of or in addition to traditional methods. Curiosity about more efficient way to execute data analysis with statistics programs like SAS. I am constantly asking questions and seeking new knowledge with excitement. Both the professional and academic setting helped me hone my curious nature in a way that would be beneficial to any company who is looking for someone who will give more than just the job description. I never stop asking questions and I have developed the confidence, skillset, and self-awareness required to get answers in an appropriate and timely manner.I consider the next 3-5 years in my career to be just as important a learning endeavor as my time in the master’s program. Aside from fair compensation, I am looking to be a part of a talented team that values continuing education, while also utilizing the skills I have obtained in the past 6 years to accomplish any projects and tasks. Health research has always been a passion over other areas of study for its humanitarian nature and the consequence of providing knowledge that help people in need, and I am open to any subject that maintains this nature. I hope the next position I am in will utilize both my advanced statistical programming, as well as my theoretical background in statistics. A good talented team that values discussion and continuing education is just as valuable to me as a salary figure in this next phase of my career.
