With over 12 years of industry experience in diverse geographies and complex roles, I am an Operations Manager at Aramex, a leading global provider of comprehensive logistics and transportation solutions. I hold an MBA in Supply Chain and Operations Management, an MSc in Biomedical Engineering, and a B.E.(Hons.) in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, as well as certifications in Automation Engineering and SAFe 4 Practitioner. My core competencies include managing operational activities, solving problems, analyzing data, leading teams, and developing business opportunities. I am responsible for overseeing the first and middle-mile operations across the UAE domestic market, handling over 50k packages daily with a team of 100 members. I also lead a specialized team to implement and increase the utilization of alternative delivery options, such as lockers and mobile outlets, across the UAE. Additionally, I actively participate in constructing strategies for business development through designing operational process flows and defining costs per pack calculations, collaborating closely with the sales team and end customers. I have a strong track record of identifying critical gaps and issues and designing and implementing innovative systems and processes across various business functions for enhanced profitability and continuous improvement. I have also participated in a Big Five project team for business expansion into new geographic markets in North Africa, conducting robust market research, in-depth competitor analysis, strategic partner analysis, and opportunity analysis with cross-functional collaboration. Furthermore, I have developed and implemented communications for new operational changes through consultation with various departments, such as operations, planning, engineering, customer service, and IT. I have excellent stakeholder engagement capabilities and an outstanding ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders to ensure optimal delivery of projects and services and boost customer and stakeholder satisfaction.
