Background
About Rohan Rao
My career so far has spanned in the spaces of engineering and public policy. My MS in Mechanical Engineering and work experience in experimental physics has given me a strong foundation in the science behind energy systems and technologies. My second master's in international public Affairs has provided me frameworks to critically analyse the socioeconomics of climate transitions and geo-politics of climate governance. I am also extensively trained in drafting Policy Briefs on issues related to public policy. Currently in my PhD, I am investigating the dimensions of equitable transitions in net zero climate policy (state and non-state actors). I am keen to continue on this path of critically evaluating the cross-disciplinary dimensions of climate policies in the national and sub-national contexts.
