About Rohan Sethi

I have always viewed the economy as an intricate and complex system that is synonymous to the anatomy of the body, with each element subject to change with differing effects. My continuous and growing interest on how this global system operates has led to my growing passions in financial polices and econometrics, alongside problem solving and analytical skills, to dissect the workings of what makes the world tick. This is where I feature. I have a passion for taking initiative in decision making to stimulate change which bodes well with my driven mindset to make sure my expertise is used correctly and eagerness to develop a wider skillset. I am fond of team-based interactions with efficient collaboration being key alongside adept proficiency to work independently. I have recently completed a year in industry at Pernod Ricard where I undertook the role of a Business Analyst to assess the performance of key strategic international brands using large datasets in Excel and creation of dashboards in Power BI. This allows me to synthesise and assess economic trends to produce analysis for the future business strategy of the company. In addition to this, I am familiar with operating with team members on a global basis with a particular strength in communicative abilities to ensure correct outcomes were reached. My ongoing Economics degree at the University of Leeds provides me with curiosity in the corporate strategy of firms with a particular focus on growing profit margins in a sustainable manner for the future.
